The Structural Reliability and Disaster Risk (SRDR) group attended the 12th International Conference on Structural Safety and Reliability (ICOSSAR, http://www.icossar2017.org/),
which was held at TU Wien in Vienna, Austria, from Aug. 6th to Aug. 11th.
At the conference, three presentations were made by Jaebeom Lee, Sangmok Lee and Sreehari Ramachandra Prabhu, based on their recentest research achievements:
1) Lee, J., Lee, Y.-J., Kim, H., and Sim, S.-H. (2017). Finite element reliability analysis for deriving flood fragility curve of deteriorated bridges considering scour
2) Lee, S. and Lee, Y.-J. (2017). Fragility assessment of liquid storage tanks under seismic loads by integration of two software packages
3) Ramachandra Prabhu, S. and Lee, Y.-J. (2017). A Bayesian approach in deriving Paris law parameters from S-N curve data.
The conference was a great opportunity for all group members to see the state-of-the-art research in the field of structural safety and reliability and make connections with other researchers . In addition, the group also enjoyed the beautiful city of Vienna and visited its tour sights.
